ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.  We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and articles as well.  Many college and public libraries have microform copies of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years.  In them, you can find lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time, make a trip to the library and check it out.  Ask a librarian how to get started and how to print out the articles that you find.

Championships in six minor sports were settled yesterday in the Section 5 Winter Sports Carnival.

Interscholastic League wrestlers won all but a single match for Class A competition. Only loss for the city forces was in the 112-pound class when Vistocco Dominick of Geneva decisioned Phil Fostano of East High.

Otherwise it was a clean sweep for the city grapplers. Earl Wadman, Marshall, won the 95-pound title; James Bellavia, East, 103; Tony Rinaldi, East, 120; Ray Roy, Charlotte, 127; Pat Manicci, Franklin, 133; Nick Pukish, Franklin, 138; Arnold Halpin, Charlotte, 145; Ed White, Charlotte, 154; Phil Ferguson, Charlotte, 165; Alex Macaluso, Madison, 175; Dick Crecco, Madison, unlimited.
