of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years. In them, you can find
lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time,
make a trip to the library and check it out. Ask a librarian how to get
started and how to print out the articles that you find.

Championships in
six minor sports were settled yesterday in the Section 5 Winter Sports
Carnival.
Interscholastic
League wrestlers won all but a single match for Class A competition.
Only loss for the city forces was in the 112-pound class when
Vistocco Dominick of Geneva decisioned
Phil Fostano of East High.
Otherwise it was a
clean sweep for the city grapplers. Earl Wadman,
Marshall, won the 95-pound title; James Bellavia,
East, 103; Tony Rinaldi, East,
120; Ray Roy, Charlotte, 127;
Pat Manicci, Franklin, 133;
Nick Pukish, Franklin, 138; Arnold
