ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.
We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and
articles as well. Many college and public libraries have microform copies
of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years. In them, you can find
lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time,
make a trip to the library and check it out. Ask a librarian how to get
started and how to print out the articles that you find.

BATH - Wrestlers from the Finger Lakes-Wyoming section swept all 12 events of
the Section 5 Class B wrestling Championships here last night.
Mel Brinson, 138-pounder from Penn Yan, completed
his four-year scholastic wrestling career with a 43-second pin of Larry
Porter, from Bath's Haverling High School, and an unblemished record.
Brinson has never been beaten.
Dick Marchionda of Penn Yan, like Brinson a
defending Section 5 champ, also finished his scholastic career unbeaten,
winning the 103-pound title for the second straight year. Marchionda
competed for three full seasons.
Not one member of
the Allegany Livingston - Monroe - Genesee Orleans section managed to
come away from the meet with a title, the first time this has occurred
in the history of Section 5 wrestling.
