ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.
We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and
articles as well. Many college and public libraries have microform copies
of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years. In them, you can find
lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time,
make a trip to the library and check it out. Ask a librarian how to get
started and how to print out the articles that you find.

The two Livingston County division leaders squared off in Hornell, with Hornell
surging ahead in the final round to win its tournament.
Going into the final round, Hornell (6-0) was leading Letchworth by half a
point. The Red Raiders surged in the final round, winning five of eight matches
to surge to a 39.5-point victory over Letchworth, its closest competitor.
According to Hornell coach Matt Sheldon, Hornell was greatly helped by four wins
in the matches to determine third and fourth places.
One of the key matchups came at 152 pounds, where Jason Eldridge decisioned Dan
Osborne of Letchworth 4-1. Eldridge held a two-point lead after two periods, and
got a reversal in the third to take a four-point lead over Osborne.
At 160 pounds, Josh Woodworth of Canisteo, one of the tournament's two
outstanding wrestlers, won a 3-2 decision over Shane Rimmer of Perry. The match
was tied in the third period, when Woodworth got an escape to go ahead to stay.
