Clarence program's career wins leader places second
March 04, 2015

The representatives of Clarence's wrestling team who qualified to compete at this past weekend's state championship tournament in Albany came close to hitting their goal of all finishing on the awards stand, but in the end the Red Devils had to settle for two out of the three achieving that level of success - including one who put Clarence in a championship match for the first time in more than 20 years.

Nate Schwab solidified his claim as one of the program's all-time greats by reaching the championship match of the Division I 170-pound weight bracket. That's where he unfortunately found himself facing Shenendehowa's Kevin Parker for the third time this season, and just as the previous two encounters went, Schwab was unable to figure out a way to come out on top.
