ESPN2 to air two shows from World Wrestling Championships

ESPN2 will air two prime-time telecasts from the World Wrestling Championships, which will be held in Las Vegas, Nev. at the Orleans Arena. Both of these tape-delayed shows will be two hours long.

Over 100 nations expected to compete at the World Wrestling Championships in the three Olympic wrestling styles of Greco-Roman, women's freestyle and men's freestyle. The United States will have a strong team in all three styles.

The first ESPN2 show will be telecast on Thursday, September 10 from 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time. It will cover highlights from the first three days of the World Championships, which features Greco-Roman wrestling and women's freestyle wrestling.

The second ESPN2 show will be telecast on Sunday, September 13 from 8:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Eastern Time. It will cover highlights from the final three days of the World Championships, which features men's freestyle wrestling and women's freestyle wrestling.
