Armdrag.com: Pound-for-Pound: Who are New York's Top Wrestlers?

In early July, we released a list of the top seniors in New York. That, of course, could change after Fargo and a number of other events.

Now that the school year is underway, we decided to take a look at the best wrestlers in the Empire State, regardless of grade.

To do that, we asked a panel of coaches and observers from around the state their thoughts on the top 10 pound-for-pound wrestlers in New York. Like a college football or basketball poll, we awarded 10 points to the wrestler at #1, 9 points to the wrestler at #2, 8 points for the wrestler at #3 and so on for each panel member's list.

Every ballot had the same top two wrestlers - Yianni Diakomihalis and Vito Arujau. Five different wrestlers got third place votes and the numbers were very close, especially from the fifth spot on (which is why 11 wrestlers are included below).

So . . . when we added up all the points from all of our panel members, here's what the list looked like . . .
