Highlights of Championship Day for the Avon Braves at Section 5 Class BB Sectionals. Features highlights of the wrestlebacks and the championship round. Avon had three champions, as Carter Vivian, Zack Loomis & Tim Baumer took home titles. Baumer was also awarded the M.O.W. Other Avon wrestlers that placed were Malachy Farrell (2nd), Danny Cook (5th), Jon Robinson (6th), Ryan Blood (5th), Tristen Prine (4th) & Jimmy Gross (6th). Joye Levendusky ended up 2-2, one match away from making Super Sectionals. Great sophomore year for her as she finished with a 22-13 overall record for the Braves! Avon had the best season they've had in 25 years, co-champions of the D1 LCAA league, placing 3rd at LCAA's & 2nd at sectionals.
