Columbia's Devine and Burnt Hills' Gramuglia top No. 2 seeds, advance

Albany - Christian Gramuglia (Burnt Hills) and John Devine (Columbia) breezed through their respective state wrestling tournament preliminary matches on Friday morning, but the juniors were rewarded with a couple of tall tasks as they would both have to meet the No. 2 seeds in their respective brackets in the quarterfinal round.

In their third consecutive appearances at states, Gramuglia and Devine provided a pair of big upsets and broke through to the semifinals at Times Union Center.
