The Byron-Bergen wrestling team captured its second consecutive Genesee Region League title and the Bees lead the way this season with six all-star selections.

Byron-Bergen finished the season at 20-2 overall, including 5-0 in the league, and went on to win the program's first sectional title in its history when it won the Class BB crown in February.

Byron-Bergen head coach Rich Hannan also earned the Genesee Region League Coach of the Year for the first time; Hannan has a career coaching record of 47-6 and that only is likely to improve as five of the Bees' six all-stars are underclassmen and will return next season.
