Molinaro Sets Sights on Winning World Olympic Games Qualifier in Mongolia
April 21, 2016

When Frank Molinaro enters the arena in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia for the World Olympic Games Qualifier on Sunday, he's not going to be thinking merely about a top-three finish.

"The plan is to win," the former Southern Regional and Penn State wrestler said days before making the estimated 35-hour trip from Dulles Airport in Washington, D.C., to Ulaanbaatar. "Everybody going to this tournament wants to be in the Olympics, be the best and win gold. And I'm going to Mongolia with the same mindset, to win there and then start preparing to win at the Olympics."

After capturing the Olympic Trials championship April 9, Molinaro heads for Mongolia knowing he accomplished a major feat just to earn that privilege.
