Armdrag.com: Quaker wrestling team looking to change culture at Orchard Park

For the 2016-17 Orchard Park wrestling season, growth and improvement will be key. The team has 29 wrestlers, almost half of whom are freshmen. First-year coach Jared Teal has gone all-out recruiting, which has helped the team's overall numbers. However, more first-time wrestlers means there has to be a focus on basics and fundamentals early on in practice.

"For the first month, we're just focusing on fundamentals," Teal said. "Doing that and working with the experienced guys at the same time has been a juggling act. Some of these guys have been wrestling since they were 5, but the bulk are brand-new."
