Lantry and Patrick Bow Out in Day Two at Midlands
December 30, 2016

EVANSTON, IL - Bryan Lantry and Justin Patrick advanced to the second day at Midlands, but each dropped their first match in the consolation bracket, bringing an end to their tournament.

Lantry, who had advanced to the quarterfinals before losing his first match, lost an 8-3 decision to Eli Stickley of Wisconsin.

Patrick had his three-match win streak snapped by Oklahoma's Christian Moody who pinned Patrick at the 3:49 mark.

"Overall, a lot of good things we saw this weekend and there's definitely things we need to work on," head coach John Stutzman said. "The big thing is consistency and creating scoring opportunities. We will go back to work."

The Bulls will next be in action on January 7 when they host Columbia.
