Yianni Diakomihalis' High School Career Is Over

Yianni Diakomihalis has suffered a season ending injury to his arm. Unfortunately for the Cornell commit, it seems unlikely he will be able to compete for his fifth state title and that his high school career is over.

In December, he had surgery on his right elbow and with further diagnosis it was decided he will soon be having surgery on his left elbow. Essentially, he injured his growth plates to a point where it was felt an operative procedure was necessary to get him back on the mat without extensive rehabilitation.
