BOLIVAR - The Lions were issued a challenge on Thursday - Bolivar-Richburg, which is ranked second overall in sectionals to this point.

When the Wolverines met with visiting Wellsville, it looked like your typical old school Allegany County rivalry as both teams tuned up for Saturday's Hornell State Farm Classic.

Bolivar-Richburg did a little bit of bending, but the Wolverines didn't break in the end, as they won seven of the 10 contested matches to earn a 54-18 victory over the Lions.
