Batavia's Joe Allegue takes a unique path his senior year

BATAVIA — The Batavia High School lacrosse team kicked off its 2017 regular season schedule on Tuesday night with a road game at Midlakes. And while senior Joe Allegue wasn't there due to his participation in the Mr. Batavia contest, the midfielder will certainly be an important part of the Blue Devils successes this season.

Having played lacrosse since only the seventh grade, Allegue will be a part of a core group of seniors that will look to be the guiding force to a number of talented underclassman that are all looking to put Batavia on the Section V map.

But it won't be what Allegue does this spring that will cement his place in Blue Devils athletic history.
