Yianni Diakomihalis can add yet another accolade to his growing list of accolades, as the Hilton senior was named state winner Monday for the Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award, according to the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Along with the other state and regional representatives, Diakomihalis is now in the running for the national version of the award, which recognizes and celebrates the nation's most outstanding high school seniors for their excellence in wrestling, scholastic achievement, citizenship and community service. The winner will be announced Thursday.
