Kudos to the Warsaw Athletic Hall of Fame committee on their three recent inductions for their Class of 2017.

Two-time NYS champion Paul Paddock, along with both the 1935 and 1970 women's basketball teams were all very deserving selections during last Saturday's ceremony.

Reading Paddock's career accolades made me realize how unbelievable Warsaw wrestling has been over the past 15 years.

It made me truly appreciate the blueprint to that success.

Committee members: I would like to nominate a few of my own selections for next year's class.

Wrestling coaches Rob Hirsch, Jeff Royce, Dee Gugel, and Charlie Vorhees.
