CITY OF TONAWANDA — It was more than just about winning. It was about staying united as a team throughout the journey.

The Newfane Panthers posted a perfect 7-0 team record to claim the championship of the 17th annual Tonawanda Team Duals that was held Friday and Saturday at Tonawanda High School.

It marked the third time in four years that Newfane won the tourney and a return to the top after falling to Clarence in the final match of last year's tournament.
