St. Joe's aiming for another successful season
December 06, 2017

The 40-member, seven-coach 2017-18 St. Joe's wrestling team is committed to building on a championship culture. The goals for the program remain the same: win the MMHSAA regular-season title, win the All-Catholic title and capture the NYCHSAA championship.

Coach Pete Kennedy and assistants Brad Devlin, Craig Ostrum, Taylor Golba, Dan Menza and Dan Bavisotto return and will welcome Matt Johnson back to St. Joe's. Kennedy enters his 21st season as a wrestling coach at St. Joe's and his 13th season as head coach. Since 1998, Kennedy has mentored 99 MMHSAA All-Catholic champions and helped 10 wrestlers earn 14 combined NYCHSAA titles.
