For those of you that have been fortunate enough to follow high school wrestling over the last 20 years or so, like myself, you've witnessed some of the best wrestling in the entire country right here in the GLOW Region.
The Livingston Conference and Genesee Region have produced some of the top talent in the country, and throw in Batavia, from the Monroe County League, and Albion and Medina from Section VI, also within our GLOW walls, and state place finishers and NYS champions have been producing locally at a high level every winter.
Someone once told me, "The Times Union Arena (the site of the NYS Wrestling Championships in Albany), is the house that the LCAA and GR built."
Truer words have not been spoken.
