CORTLAND, N.Y. - The No. 11 ranked College at Brockport wrestling team had a strong showing at Saturday's Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference (ECWC) tournament, placing second overall as a team. Jonathan Haas, Sean Peacock, and Triston Engle all brought home first place finishes, while a number of other wrestlers had high finishes.
In the 125-lb weight class, Haas breezed by all of his opponents, using a pair of pins to get to the championship bout where he beat Oswego's Hunter Howland by a 13-3 major decision. Haas is still undefeated in 2017-18, and is the No. 1 ranked wrestler in the country at the 125-lb weight class.
