CANISTEO — This might be Mickey Woodworth's final season as head coach of the Canisteo-Greenwood Varsity Wrestling program, but Woodworth's presence will be felt throughout the wrestling program and greater Canisteo community for years to come.

While the accomplishments are incredible — a NYS Champion, Section V Dual Meet Champs, NYS Dual Meet Runner-Ups, countless individual sectional champions — they pale in comparison to the true impact that Woodworth has had on the Canisteo-Greenwood wrestling program.

Over the last few decades, Woodworth has taken boys and turned them into fine young men. He's taught them valuable life lessons that can be taken off the mat and into the real world.
