Avon's Joye Levendusky placed 4th at the USA Wrestling Junior Women Nationals on July 17-18th in Fargo, North Dakota, the highest finish for any New York woman in that division along with teammate Riley Dalrymple from Central NY.

NY entered 35 young women in the Junior division and only 5 made the top 8 to the podium, qualifying them to be All-Americans.

Joye completes her high school career a 3x Fargo All-American and overall 7x All-American at national USA Wrestling events. She also won four NYS titles along the way. She'll attend McKendree University in IL, a top 5 Women's college wrestling program, in the fall.
