Avon's Joye Levendusky finished in fourth place in the junior division at the Fargo National Championships earlier this week in Fargo, North Dakota.

Levendusky was ranked No. 12 in the country by USA Wrestling at 133 pounds back in February and was one of 35 girls from New York in the tournament. She finished the highest from the state, going 5-2 at 152 pounds with a pair of wins in the consolation matches.

Both of Levendusky's losses were to All-American Lena Flanagan from Washington, including a 12-6 decision in the quarterfinals.

Levendusky wrestled for the Avon boys wrestling team this year at 145 pounds, going 21-7. She completes her high school career a three-time Fargo All-American and seven-time All-American at national USA Wrestling events.

Levendusky will attend McKendree University in Illinois this fall.
