Honeoye Falls-Lima's Anthony Noto, Brockport's Tyler Daly and Fairport's Austin Sergeant are all lightweights in their school wrestling team's lineup.

Well, that is true on the weight scale, as all three wrestlers are less than 135 pounds.

It is a different story when it comes to results.

Sergeant, Daly and Noto walked away from the Matthew Marino Tournament at Webster Schroeder as undefeated champions on Dec. 1. A round-robin format meant that wrestlers could face everyone in their weight class, including competitors from schools in Sections III, IV and VI

"There were teams coming from all over the state," Fairport coach Josh Lenhard said. "Starting the season like this (finishing first at this tournament), is definitely the way to get the ball rolling."
