The St. Mary's wrestling program has grown exponentially over the past few seasons.

The size of the team has grown from four to 10 to 19 to 27 over the past four years. Many of this year's members are either freshmen or sophomores, setting up a solid future for the program. This year's squad is by far the biggest St. Mary's has had since coach Zach Weiss took over the program. He's excited about the way things are trending for his group.

"We're heading in the right direction," Weiss said. "We're catching up with the other programs in Monsignor Martin. That will make it a lot easier to start making that next jump.
