J-T fights to keep sports programs alive amid declining enrollment

JASPER — Due to ongoing demographic shifts, a small town in New York is struggling to keep its sports programs alive.

Because of a lack of participants, Jasper-Troupsburg High School has lost two teams in the last three years and is struggling to keep others active. As the winter sports season heats up, the future of the varsity wrestling team is questionable as well.
