CANISTEO, N.Y. (WETM) - On Tuesday, a community gathered together to honor their hometown hero, honoring life in death.

A grand gesture for a true hero. And even after his untimely departure, the standing ovation continues for a local hometown hero.

Trooper Nicholas Clark, he was a son, a teammate, a mentor, and an exceptional human being and he's deserving of honor.
