After the way the Fredonia Hillbillies wrestling team has started the season, you knew they were ready to face a significant test.

That test turned out to be undefeated, perennial wrestling powerhouse Olean.

Fredonia battled, scrapped and clawed their way through the match, but in the end, Olean was able to hang on to a 39-37 win in the CCAA Division 1 contest on Wednesday at Fredonia High School.
