Patrick Mix looking for another MMA win
February 21, 2019

Sweet Home High School assistant coach Patrick Mix is undefeated (9-0) and one of the top prospects in the bantamweight (135lb) division in the mma world. He faces another test on Saturday night against New Mexico’s Turrell Galloway (8-8). Mix is 25 years old, a native of Angola NY and a former Lakeshore wrestling standout. Almost 6 six years since he stopped wrestling he took to the sport of mixed martial arts and has never lost a fight. What’s even more impressive is he arguably has never lost a round. His streak runs back over 5 years where he went 11-0 as and amateur and sits at 9-0 currently.

Mix is in his last bout agreement with King Of The Cage. He has fought 9 of his 10 professional bouts and is ready to move on. It looks as though he has went through a talented class of professional fighters to include Jessie Bazzi, Andre Ewell, and Tony Gravely in the King Of The Cage promotion and is ready for a bigger stage. It’s possible that after he fights this Saturday a bigger opportunity may await? It’s optimistic that tho the UFC has a talent stacked bantamweight division , it makes no sense if they don’t sign him. Mix has world class grappling skills, is a huge size for the weight class, and he can fight

Mix currently sits amongst the radar for some major promotions to include the UFC , Bellator, One FC, and PFL. With another win this weekend his days of fighting in local casinos may be over and he may be headed to sold out arenas elsewhere.
