Strong turnout asks BOE for practice area

WELLSVILLE — There is strength in numbers, and Monday night, the Wellsville wrestling program sought to enlist a few more allies during the Board of Education meeting.

The Wellsville wrestling program is fighting for a space in the district dedicated solely to the sport. Due to time and space constraints, Wellsville wrestlers have been bouncing around from one practice venue to the next depending on availability. The program would like to stop that carousel and find a permanent home that matches the momentum of the program.
