Williamsville North's Catanzaro Becomes Spartans All-Time Wins Leader

Williamsville North junior Mike Catanzaro took over as the Spartans' all-time wrestling wins leader on Friday, January 17th at the ECIC Championships on his way to winning the 126-pound title, his second league title.

With a preliminary bout pin in his first match of the tournament, Catanzaro earned his 136th career victory, passing the record previously held by Tommy Kellner. With a month of wrestling still to come and his senior season ahead of him, Catanzaro has a chance to create significant distance between himself and Kellner on the program's wins leaderboard.
