NCCC finishes fourth at National Duals

Niagara County Community College finished 1-2 and in fourth place at this past weekend's NWCA National Duals in Louisville, Kentucky. The Thunderwolves are 6-3 overall and ranked No. 9 in the latest NJCAA poll.

Niagara CCC 36, Northland C&TC 18

Sophomores Jacob Bell (125) and Frankie Gissendaner (157) along with freshmen Mason Gray (149) and Devin Van Lengen (197) won via pinfall for the Thunderwolves. Freshman Christian Robinson (165) won by technical fall, 16-0, while sophomore Jordan Bushey was an 11-1 major-decision winner at 184 pounds.

Nassau CC 28, Niagara CCC 11

Gray & Gissendaner each won by major decision, while Bushey earned a close 4-3 victory against the eventual champions.

Harper College 32, Niagara CCC 15

Gray won by pinfall and Bushey by decision as both grapplers finished 3-0 at the event.
