Jason Frazer is heading back to the state wrestling championships.

The Tonawanda senior won by medical forfeit to win the 170-pound title at Saturday's Section VI Division II State Qualifier at Southwestern High School.

Last year Frazer bumped up a weight class and won a section title at 182.

Frazer's finals opponent, Portville junior Jayden Lassiter, who was seeded third, got injured in the semifinals and was not medically cleared to compete in the finals. Frazer was warming up when he learned of the news from Warriors coach Dan Bishop.
