Bulls Travel to Edinboro for a Pair of Duals on Friday

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo wrestling team will travel to Edinboro on Friday to take on the host Fighting Scots and Gannon. The Bulls will open against Mid-American Conference-foe Edinboro at 5 pm, followed by a dual with Gannon.

The Bulls are coming off their first dual win of the season, a 17-16 victory over Binghamton on Sunday. Derek Spann, 25th in the latest Intermat rankings, was named the latest MAC Wrestler of the Week after his 19-1 tech fall against the Bearcats.

Edinboro is 0-1 on the season with a 28-20 loss to Pittsburgh. The Fighting Scots have a pair of wrestlers in the national rankings. Jacob Oliver is ranked 18th at 174 and Ethan Ducca is ranked 32nd at 184.

Edinboro leads the all-time series, 22-5. Since both teams have been MAC members, they have split their two meetings.

This will be the first dual of the season for Gannon. The Bulls have a 9-0 record against the Golden Knights. The teams most recently met in 2019 with the Bulls winning 31-10.
