Jayhawks Ranked T-29; Abram Ranked 10th in Latest NJCAA Wrestling Rankings

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - In the second edition of the 2021-22 NJCAA Wrestling Poll, the Jamestown Community College wrestling team comes in at tied for 29th.

The Jayhawks are tied with Camden County College of Region 19 and Itasca Community College of Region 13 with each team receiving one point. JCC took a 2-0 record in the rankings with dual victories at Penn State Mont Alto and Hiram College.

Jamestown has also competed in multiple tournaments as well, finishing ninth at the Washington & Jefferson Invitational, 10th at the New York State Championships, and fifth at the Thunderwolves Open.

JCC also has a wrestler ranked in the individual rankings with Ross Abram (Eden, NY/Eden Central) coming in at No. 10 in the 174 pound weight class. Abram is first on the team in victories via fall with eight and an overall record of 12-5 when the rankings were released last week.
