ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell wrestling team won four decisions by three points or less, including two in sudden victory, to knock off Army West Point 28-10 on Saturday afternoon at the Friedman Wrestling Center. The 13th-ranked Big Red improved to 4-2 (1-1 EIWA) with the victory, while the Black Knights fell to 0-6 with the loss.

Cornell won matches at 197 and 285 with overtime takedowns, and a riding point gave Chris Foca a win over reigning EIWA champ Ben Pasiuk at 174 as Cornell won each of the final five contests of the dual. Jacob Cardenas and Brendan Furman earned the only takedowns in their matches in sudden victory.

The Foca-Pasiuk match was one of three matchups between nationally ranked opponents, with Cardenas' win over No. 25 JT Brown and Julian Ramirez's 6-3 victory over No. 33 Dalton Harkins at 165 also on the list. Top-ranked Yianni Diakomihalis held a 5-0 edge on No. 22 PJ Ogunsanya before the Army wrestler was forced to injury default early in the second period.

Vito Arujau's major decision victory at 125 and Dom LaJoie's dominant 4-1 triumph at 133 gave the Big Red an early lead it would never relinquish, even after the Black Knights picked up a pin at 141. Jonathan Loew also was victorious in his match at 185 with an 8-4 decision over Sahm Abdulrazzaq.
