WEST POINT, N.Y. - In its second home match of the season, the Army West Point wrestling team fell to #2 Iowa by a score of 28-13. The Black Knights saw success having three cadet-athletes that won their duals. Ethan Berginc (ranked #24 in the country) won the 125 class and is now 8-0 on the season.

How it Happened
In a packed crowd at Christl Arena, the Black Knights went against #2 Iowa. Freshman Ethan Berginc along with juniors Ben Pasiuk, and Julian Sanchez each defeated their opponents helping Army get 13 team points on the board.

In the 125-weight class, Ethan Berginc remained undefeated with a fall (2:42) against the Hawkeye's Aiden Harris. In the 133 class, Iowa's Cullan Schriever defeated Army's Richard Treanor in a tight dual falling by a 2-0 decision. In a highly contested match, Julian Sanchez bested Iowa's Drew Bennett in the 141 class by a 5-3 decision.
#21 Ben Pasiuk saw success in the 174-weight class. Pasiuk dominated in his dual against Hawkeyes Carson Martinson by a commanding 15-4 major decision. In the first period of action, Pasiuk had his first take down of the dual, ending the period with a 6-2 lead.
