Brockport, NY - It was Senior Night for the Golden Eagle wrestling squad Wednesday night. They came up short against #20 RIT in the match, falling by a final score of 26-15.

Prior to the start of the action, Brockport recognized eight seniors. A short ceremony was held to honor Chris Eames, Sam Grey, Jaleel Herrar, Matthew Kline, Elijah Sims, Michael Sullivan, Joe Yanis, and Jared Zenie.

In the first bout of the night, Liam Bullock dominated his matchup in the 125-weight class. Bullock won by way of a fall just 1:47 into the first period.

Michael Sullivan was handed a win at 197, as RIT forfeited the match for the weight class.

At heavyweight, Joe Yanis pulled out a dramatic win to close out the night. Yanis earned the sudden victory by a score of 4-2.

The Golden Eagles are now 6-5 this season in dual competition. They are back home next weekend for the Brockport Tri-Match.

Lycoming College and Niagara County Community College will come to The Vlog on Saturday, February 11th. The first bouts of the day will begin at 11am.
