OBITUARY
Richard Charles "Dick" Post of Arcade, NY passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at his residence at the age of 84.
He was born on May 21, 1939 in Buffalo and was the son of the late Clayton and Doris (Johnson) Post. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Arcade and was a great lover of sports. He also enjoyed horseback riding and golfing.
Dick was a Physical Educator and Coach at Pioneer Central. He coached football, wrestling and girls softball. As a result of his dedication and commitment to the community, he was inducted into the National Wrestling Coach Hall of Fame, the New York State Wrestling Coach Hall of Fame, the ECIC Hall of Fame, the Southern Tier Wrestling Coach Hall of Fame as well as the Pioneer Central Hall of Fame.
He is survived by his loving companion of 25 years, Terry Lee Grden; his children: Mary MacGregor of East Aurora, Kristine Rose of San Antonio, TX and Mike (Marianne) Post of Anchorage, AK; his grandchildren: Sarah (Justin), Bridget (Matt), Brooke, Maggie, Sophie, Katherine, Joseph, Daniel (Brielle), Cosette, Juliette and Daisy; his great-granddaughter, Savannah and his extended family: Josh (Sarah) Grden, Jeffree (Stephanie) Grden and Oliver and Henry Grden.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
