ALMOND — Alfred-Almond's Evan Wood took control of his 138 pound matchup with a 9-2 decision and it fueled the Eagles to victory as they would not lose another match the rest of the night in a 57-18 win over visiting Wellsville Thursday evening.

The early part of the match was a back-and-forth affair, with each team picking up a couple of pins.
