Nine of the Niagara Frontier League's finest won Section VI wrestling titles at the divisional state qualifying meets Saturday, held at Lake Shore High School and Jamestown Community College.

Leading the way were three Niagara-Wheatfield Falcons, with Justin McDougald (99 pounds), Vince Falvo (126) and Colin Goodrich (170) winning their weight classes in the Division I tournament at Lake Shore. Three of their teammates — Warren McDougald (113), Jake DeWolf (120) and Matt Cicco (170) — added second-place finishes and will have the opportunity to qualify for the state championship when wild card spots are filled this week.
