Armdrag.com: McDougalds making their mark on high school wrestling

Success on the mat is no new thing for the McDougalds. The three family members had been wrestling since they were very young before breaking onto the high school scene as seventh graders.

Although the accolades come as no surprise to those who know them, who would have thought each of the boys would reach the highest level of competition before attending high school?

Nine local wrestlers will compete in the preliminaries and quarterfinals of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association wrestling tournament tonight at the Times Union Center in Albany. When Justin and Willie McDougald hit the mat, all three of the McDougalds will have wrestled in the state tournament as eighth graders.
