CEDAR RAPIDS -- The magic waned late, but it was a magical weekend anyway for the Wartburg College wrestling team as it captured its 12th Division III national championship Saturday at the U.S. Cellular Center.

Despite winning just one of its five championship matches, the Knights accumulative effort over the two-day tournament that saw Wartburg crown eight all-Americans was enough for the program to win its fifth title in six years and the 12th matches long-time rival Augsburg's 12 victories.
