Iroquois wrestling captures Class A championship
February 12, 2016

When everyone is firing on all cylinders, even the most mediocre of teams can be tough to beat. When a great team is performing at that level, defeating it can become nearly impossible.

That's what the rest of the teams found out at Section VI Class A Wrestling Championships Saturday (Feb. 6) at Starpoint High School.

The Iroquois Chiefs put on what was arguably their best overall performance of the year as a group, taking home the Class A title with a team score of 229 points. Lake Shore came in second with 190.5.
