LAKEWOOD — As opening matches go, it was good because it ended in a win.
In terms of effort, it was good because some younger wrestlers got off to a good start.
Still, Olean High School wrestling coach Mike O'Connor knows it's a long season.
The Huskies collected six pins and a pair of technical falls en route to a 64-15 Chautauqua Cattaraugus Division I victory over Southwestern on the road Thursday.
