Williamsville South's wrestling team traveled to ECIC Division II leader Starpoint on Jan. 4 and recorded a 52-28 victory. Starpoint came into the dual meet undefeated.

"We were expecting a very tough and close bout," South coach Chris Heximer said. "They are well-coached and have some nice talent on the team. We wrestled great."

South won nine of 15 matches wrestled and won another by forfeit.
