The Tonawanda-North Tonawanda non-league wrestling match on Jan. 10 at North Tonawanda had a little extra meaning for both teams this year.

The Warriors won 10 of the final 11 matches on their way to a 60-27 victory in the "Battle of the Belt," earning them the inaugural T-NT championship belt, which will be displayed in a trophy case at Tonawanda.
