No. 4 Ithaca Wins Fourth Consecutive ECWC Title

OSWEGO, N.Y. - The fourth-ranked Ithaca College wrestling team extended its dominance over the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference (ECWC) to fourth consecutive season on Saturday afternoon. The talented Bombers scored 210.5 points as a team, easily out-distancing runner-up No. 19 Brockport (155.5) and third-place SUNY Cortland (139.5) to capture its fourth straight team title at the event.

Ithaca crowned champions at five of the 10 weight-classes on the day, scoring titles at 141-, 149-, 165-, 197-, and 285-pounds. In total, IC racked up 17 place-winners at the event, which again paced the rest of the tournament field by a wide margin.
