When Mike Venosa earned his first chance at wrestling in the high school state championships in 2016, he called the accomplishment an honor because the Victor senior represented Section V.

Consider him twice honored. Venosa earned another chance Saturday night by winning his Division I weight class at SuperSectionals, joining five-time Section V state qualifier champion Frankie Gissendanner and 28 other winners in two divisions.
